2009 Holiday Shipping Schedule
New Year (Friday, January 1)
- UPS is closed on Thursday December 31 and Friday January 1.
- Orders placed the week of New Years, must be received before 2pm Eastern Time on Monday December 28 and ship via Next Day Air
or 2nd Day Air to deliver on Wednesday December 30.
** All other orders will be held to ship on Monday January 4th

Our hours are: 9-5 Eastern Time, Monday thru Friday and 10-4 on Saturday.
Temperature & Shipping Guidelines for Live Plants
All live plants are perishable. During periods of extreme temperatures we may have to delay shipment of your order. You will be notified by email if this occurs.
Eve's Garden Wholesale will arrange the shipping schedule so orders containing
LIVE PLANTS are delivered by Friday of the week shipped to avoid weekend travel in the box.
For some delivery areas, this will require that we ship only on a Monday or Tuesday.
UPS counts only Monday through Friday (Business Days) and the day of shipping does not count.
General Guidelines
- Orders received after 1:00 pm Eastern Time on weekdays,
and orders received on weekends and holidays, are processed the next business day.
- Cut-off time to receive an order for same-day shipping is 1:00 pm Eastern Time.
- All orders are FOB Land O Lakes, Florida. This means that you pay all freight beginning at our nursery in Land O Lakes, Florida.
- Arrangements of LTL and full truck-loads on common carriers are the responsibility
of the customer.
- Standard orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS).
- Shipping is limited to U.S. Continental 48 States, Hawaii, and Alaska Only. No Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands. No International.
- Eve's Garden Wholesale is not responsible for UPS Shipping delays. Expedited shipping charges will not be reimbursed due to UPS shipping delays.
- If the recipient is unavailable to receive the package, UPS may leave the package as a signature is not required.
- Shipping address changes will result in a $10.00 charge.
- We CANNOT ship JUNIPER trees to California due to USDA Regulations.
- We CANNOT ship LIVE PLANTS to Hawaii due to USDA Regulations.
- Non-live good shipments to Hawaii require UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air.
- We cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes or APO's.
Delivery by Common Carrier
Arrangements of less-than truckload and full truck-loads on common carriers are the responsibility of the customer and will include a cost of $5.00 per case for the extensive packaging and handling we offer. Our plant material is inspected prior to shipment and is in good condition when accepted by the transportation company. If damage occurs in route please contact the carrier-agent to make an inspection. Claims for damage or loss in transit shall be made with the carrier.
