Lucky Bamboo Care

Lucky Bamboo is the perfect indoor plant. Lucky Bamboo plants can be kept in low-light situations and will grow indoors for years with little or no care, requiring only enough fresh water to keep its roots moist at all times.

  • Keep water filled to the top of the container or at least 1/3 of the stalk covered with water at all times as Lucky Bamboo requires fresh water to survive.
  • Lucky Bamboo loves low to moderate light. Keep inside away from direct sunlight. This is one of the few indoor houseplants that will thrive in the low-light conditions of one’s home or office.
  • Some leaf yellowing is a natural occurrence. Should a leaf turn yellow, remove by pulling it off.
  • Excessive heat or cold will cause your Lucky Bamboo plants to turn yellow and die. Keep in an area where the temperature is 45-90 degrees F.
  • Every two weeks, spray the plants with water to keep them free of dust and insects.
  • Change the water once a month by pouring out the old and adding fresh water to the top of the container. We recommend using Eve's Lucky Bamboo Fertilizer once a month when changing the water to keep the lucky bamboo plant healthy and deep green.
